Hi! We, Chris and Jolene, are the grown-ups with two Little EXplorers behind LEX Barefoot Shoes and this is our story...

  • Pre Preston and Leonardo, both Chris and Jolene worked in the fitness industry for 15+ years. Over this time they came face-to-foot with the after-affects of poor footwear on a daily basis, with many of their clients suffering posture issues, injury and pain. This, combined with their new-found parenting bug-bear of searching for shoes for their growing boys that were equal parts... quality, durable, fashionable, affordable and easy-to-put-on ...led them to creating LEX Barefoot Shoes.

  • Their "cool" (according to Preston) and modern shoe designs support the natural growth of little feet and can reduce problems later in life. Their shoes are also made to hack all that kids throw at them! This family is proud to be launching Australia's newest go-to shoes for Little EXplorers witht he OG collection.
