Half way between Sydney and Gold Coast lies a peaceful campsite that's right by a beautiful sheltered beach. There are minimal waves making it super safe for kids and lots to explore, slowly.
The campsite is small so book ahead. The facilities are simple and clean, and there is a small shop onsite but we recommend coming well prepared with food. There is a small town 30 minutes away if you need.
While it cost to book a campsite at Point Plomer Campground, all activities are FREE! Beach walks, fishing, pelican spotting and just all 'round chillin'.
Beautiful, peaceful, quiet. Go slow...
