Approx. 3.5 hours from Adelaide
Boardwalk to the beach is 10 minutes
Take a walk through the sand dunes along a raised boardwalk. As you make your way through the native trees and shrubs you'll be able to smell the ocean before you reach the part with the view of the water and Middle Island.
As a popular surfing spot, you can watch from the look-out at the end of the boardwalk or make your way down to the beach to "set up camp".
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Take a walk along the beach and dolphin watching! This spot is known for dolphin sightings. We were not sat down long before a pod of dolphins appeared just off shore, swimming amongst the surfers along the bay.
Dip toes in and only swim if you're a strong swimmer. The shore-break is quite full on.
