You and your little adventurers will love looking up and hiding amongst giant trees, reaching the majestic waterfall and throwing pebbles into the running creeks. While there is no swimming allowed, being surrounded by the sound of water and nature at its best definitely makes up for it.

After a nights stay at a nearby Air BnB, we drove to the main waterfall in Dorrigo National Park. The only way to experience this view for yourself is to hike to the look out, and boy is it worth it! It's not a hard walk, just lengthy, taking about 1.5 - 2 hours. Our 6 year old was fine but 2 year old hitched a few rides along the way.

There was a cool hanging bridge to cross and a cave behind the Crystal Shower Falls to explore and feel the rush of the water - so refreshing!

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Driving up the Gold Coast from Sydney we stopped at Dorrigo National Park to see some waterfalls and booked an AirBnB called Dorrigo Bush Pepper. We were surprised to ave our own mini farm and a friendly resident cat.

The owner was so so lovely, gave us fresh eggs and veggies to cook in our little Airbnb area and she let us visit and feed her goats and chickens. We were surrounded by nature and they had 2 outdoor baths set up with hot water so we can really appreciate  nature! Highly recommend staying here for a few days. Our kids absolutely loved it. Once they were all tucked up in bed, we enjoyed a relaxing outdoor bath to soak up even more of what this beautiful place has to offer.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Go hiking. Have a picnic.

TIPS

Recommend staying a night or 2 at the Airbnb to enjoy the farm, there is another creek close by if you wanted to go fishing for Salmon.
